Our Business

The principles have been active in the collection and debt buying industry since 2003.  The principles of the company have over 20 years of collection industry experience, and are considered published authorities in debt buying analytics. 

During our time in this industry we have purchased and consulted on purchased debt.  The principles have also performed debt sales, managed outsourcing networks and provided consultation services on liquidation methodology.   In addition, we have evaluated and consulted on other companies processes.  We developed strategies to address problem areas and assisted in the implementation of those methodologies and processes.   Our group has created and performed corporate style training programs on the topics of collections, debt purchasing, skip tracing methodology and professional management strategies.  Lastly, we have provided and do provide scoring analytics on debt purchases through our proprietary scoring system PODS.

The company’s goals and objectives are simple.  We want to apply our vast industry experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities to provide investors and clients the platform to achieve their desired returns and expectations.  The goal for our investors is to provide the platform to consistently produce 18% to 30%, or greater, annualized returns on their asset liquidations.  For our clients the objective is to provide them with services, expertise and create solutions that propel their organizations to their intended results.  The secondary goal with both investors and clients is to create established, forward relationships with PMG into the future. 

Our business philosophies are to provide the professional expertise in the debt purchasing industry necessary for maximum returns on each investment and second to none service for each of our investors and clients.  We intend to market our products and services, first to a select group of financial groups, second to selected investors and lastly, to the industry as a whole.

The debt purchasing industry is a relatively small industry.  However, there is a need in regards to managing investments and achieving returns.  This is where our expertise allows us to provide outstanding services.  With our knowledge and backgrounds we will establish ourselves as the premier company to provide. 

Considering the current economic situation in the United States the debt purchasing industry is poised for growth.  Our position would tell us that the current economic situation in the U.S. will not change in the next 9 to 18 months.  Therefore, banks and issuers will continue to sell their products at rates that will allow investment dollars to achieve optimal returns.  Our company is positioned to be the leader in taking advantage of this financial opportunity. 

Who We Are

Jason and John are partners in Portfolio Management Group (“PMG”), a consulting company that provides investment management and transactional services to debt buyers and investors.  Since inception in late 2006, PMG has advised on several billion dollars worth of debt transactions for some of the largest debt buyers in the industry.  PMG also provides on collection advisory services and uses its expanding outsourcing network to help maximize collection returns for its clients.  Prior to founding PMG, the Pratts' were associated with Portfolio Management, LLC, where their services included portfolio acquisition and sales, outsourcing management and business development.
